NY Style Pizza in LA did it…

Guess what got me to break my new health diet?  A HUGE slice of pizza.  Once I took a bite, my friend and I decided to go out for more… and also get fries….and a croissant sandwich to share.  We acted like two little hungry piglets!

We ate the pizza from a hidden shack off the Beverly Blvd strip, just south of Wilshire.  The joint is a typical pizza place shaped in a long narrow strip with some tvs installed on the walls.  Not too quiet,  the place is excellent to take your friends.  The red and white checkerboard table clothes will bring familiar comfort to you at this casual dining place.  The slices are HUGE and gauranteed to fill and satisfy…

The croissant sandwich was from Champagne, the french Bakery in Beverly Hills.  Champagne is one of my favorite restaurants, with their mouth watering pastries and delectable lunch main dishes, complete with options of soup, salad, or french fries.  Their tomato basil soup is the best and they are able to take a plain mixed green salad and turn it into a delightful treat with their special dressing peach looking creme-y dressing.  Their location, on the corner is perfect for people watching.  Mostly glass and tall ceiling dominate this small restaurant and many business lunches can be seen here.   The atmosphere is casual yet purposed as many nearby corporate managers and employees dine there.

After this week, I’m getting back on track with my new eating habits!!
